Time to get off your lazy butt with me and do Stardew Valley and Cardio !  I play the PC version of Stardew Valley, and each "day" I get up and getting my blood flowing. I do 2 minutes of high intensity cardio every 15 minutes or so, approximately a day in the game. This type of cardio is ideal for weight loss and performance enhancement as it quickly increases your heart rate beyond moderate levels, burning more calories. High intensity exercise also takes your body longer to recover, burning calories long after you have stopped the exercise. Play Stardew Valley along with me and exercise, just watch and enjoy, or just silence the audio and use the exercise breaks to get your blood flowing and heart pumping while you go about your daily life. The point is get up and move. 

 

 

Quick Notes

If you have hip, knee, or back issues, feel free to just step, and avoid the jumping exercises. As with any new program, if you are a beginner, please consult your doctor before beginning. If you are a beginning gamer, well then Stardew Valley is a great place to start. It is basically brainless and great for unwinding. The exercises included in the cardio circuits are mountain climbers, high knees, butt kickers, jumping jacks, squat jumps, lunge jumps, and groiners (sounds great right?)
